Every provider on WarrantyMatchPro is evaluated using the same four-factor methodology. Providers cannot pay to improve their ratings — our scores are based entirely on independent research and real customer data.
We analyze what each plan actually covers — the number of components, systems, and scenarios included. Exclusionary plans with fewer exclusions score higher than basic plans with many gaps.
We evaluate claim approval rates, average time to authorization, and whether providers have a history of denying legitimate claims. This is the most important factor — coverage only matters if claims get paid.
We analyze BBB ratings, Trustpilot reviews, Google reviews, and complaint data from state insurance commissioners to gauge real customer experience.
We compare pricing across plan levels and evaluate the cost relative to coverage provided. Lower price alone doesn't score higher — we look at value: what you get for what you pay.
